The Comedy Shrine Fund

The Comedy Shrine has been a stand up and improv comedy club, comedy museum and entertainment venue in the Naperville/Aurora, IL area for the last 17 years. An expansion was underway when Covid hit in 2020, forcing us to delay our reopening. Per the request of our new landlord, we reopened at the new location in May of 2021. Unfortunately, at this time state-enforced seating restrictions, safety protocols and a reluctance by the general public to attend live indoor venues caused us to fall into a debt that we never recovered from. Back rent, loans and other operational expenses have left us with debt. It is our hope to raise money to help pay back these debts to get us on track to our goal of reopening this Fall.  It has been our pleasure entertaining and bringing laughs to the Chicago suburbs for the past 17 years.
