Hello, my name is Jordan and I am helping raise funds for my best friend, Jon Horak. Jon is only 27 was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Colon Cancer. It is a rare cancer and he is currently undergoing treatment. Jon has been going to school full time wanting to become a wildlife game warden, and has been in the early planning stages to marry his girlfriend Taylor. Since Thanksgiving my friend Jon has had to put his life on hold to battle cancer. He was experiencing immense pain and taken to the ER. Since then he has been admitted at UC Davis. He just started his first round of Chemotherapy this last Thursday. It pains me to have to write something out like this for one of my best friends and someone who is thoughtful, generous, kind and someone who could light a room with his humor.

Jon does not have health insurance, and with going to school full time does not have a full time job. We are raising money to help take some of the stress off Jon's fight. The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be directed towards covering all the medical expenses.

Anyone who knows Jon, knows how great of a person he truly is. He is not the type of person to reach out in times of need, and with the Holidays around the corner, I hope to ease the stress for him and his girlfriend by helping them raise the funds needed.
