Donating to NRDC with ECHS students
Tax deductible
This donation campaign, initiated by students from East Coweta High School in Sharpsburg, GA, was born out of our deep concern for the issues that negatively impact people’s lives. After careful consideration, we identified environmental damage as one of the most significant threats to human health and well-being.
Through this fundraising effort, we aim to support the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an organization dedicated to combating environmental pollution and its harmful effects on people. The funds raised will be directed towards specific NRDC initiatives, such as clean air and water projects, environmental justice campaigns, and efforts to reduce pollution in vulnerable communities.
Our goal is to raise $1,000 by the next Earth Day. To achieve this, we are engaging our community in various ways. We plan to host local events, such as community clean-ups, educational workshops, and awareness drives, where participants can contribute donations and learn more about the impact of environmental issues. We also encourage everyone to spread the word through social media and connect with local businesses willing to match donations or provide sponsorships.
We believe that, with your support, we can reach our $1,000 goal and make a significant difference. Your participation will not only help raise funds but also foster a stronger, more environmentally conscious community.
