Help Queer POC Student Get His Degree!

Hi everyone!

For reasons that should quickly become obvious, I want to remain anonymous and not add too many identifying details about myself. I have studied at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering and am currently 6 credits away (only technical elective credits left) from obtaining my degree. However, last year, I had to run away from my abusive home after my c-PTSD had reached a breaking point & my parents became increasingly controlling in turn. I have virtually fully cut contact. As a result, I no longer had financial support to finance my education, and I had to take a leave of absence as my mental health had reached a point where I was no longer able to engage with education. There is currently an unpaid balance of $6,040 on my account preventing me from enrolling in more classes, and to get the last credits I need, I will have to pay around another $11k out of pocket. For now, I am just asking for help with the unpaid balance. It has been incredibly challenging to finance myself while also attempting to figure out my education. I am currently at a point where I will be disenrolled if my leave of absence runs out & I haven't paid the unpaid balance. Please help me with the final sprint with my degree, I would appreciate it more than anything.
