Zeus ACL Surgery
Donation protected
Zeus is our 6 year old Lab-Sheppard mix, and the most wonderful, loving dog you could ever hope for. We adopted him 5 years ago. He has always been an extremely active dog and is loved by all that meet him. He loves to play ball and three years ago he ruptured his cranial cruciate ligament (Serves the same purpose as the ACL in humans.) After several months of trying anti-inflammatory drugs and taking it easy, it was determined he had to have TPLO surgery. Forward to last night and Zeus ruptured the other legs CCL. We have discussed amputation and have been advised against it because of the previous surgery on the other leg. TPLO is the recommened to asure sucess. Othozip could be done but risky due to his size. The expense was more than we can handle but I refuse to let Zeus suffer and not live a full life. We are asking our family and friends and friends of friends to please help us in any way possible. Help us be able to continue to have Zeus as part of our family.
