Howard's Medical Fund

Our good friend Howard Pugh was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his liver. Howard is a big part of the family here at NHC and we wanted to create this campaign to help raise money for his family. Howard has worked at NHC Healthcare in Sumter for the past 19 years. He was named CNA of the year 3 times and in 2010 he won CNA of the year for the State of South Carolina. He and his wife Valencia have a son and a daughter. They also have a granddaughter who lives with them as well. Howard is known for his smile and great attitude, and was in charge of the fundraising project to build a bird aviary for our center.
