My name is Epimenio Quintana, I’m a 91-year-old retired veteran. At the age of 75 my beloved wife and I adopted a newborn baby who was in desperate need of a family, we named this beautiful baby boy Xavier Quintana, Born February 17th, 2005. In May of 2017, my beloved wife passed of cancer Leaving Xavier and me full of Hurt and grief. My son was an amazing young man who was full of life and has so much to offer to the world. Unfortunately, my son battled with the grief of losing his mother. He struggled mentally with depression and on Tuesday, November 29th my beautiful son took his life. I have made the decision to give someone else life and turn my biggest heartache into a blessing for another family by donating my son’s organs. If you all can find it in your heart to bless my family with any donation you can offer so I can give my son a proper goodbye I would be eternally grateful. I never expected to have my son go before me, no parent should have to lose a child, and I wish I didn’t have to ask, but here we are. Once again, no donation is too small, I am grateful for anything you can offer.
