Need Financial Help

Hi, my name is Deborah Salmons. My husband is Rob Salmons commonly known as The Jam Guy.

November 24 2023 Rob will be having spine surgery and maybe released on the same day. According to the surgeon, it would take about 16 to 20 weeks to recover. If there are no complications.

We do not have home care for my husband, so we have to manage on our own.

I work very part time which I am grateful.

I pray each day for some news of being hired. My prayers have not been answered. I apply 5 to 6 jobs a day.

I have tried selling our possessions without success.

Our business, The Jam Guy doesn't make enough to cover our living expenses. Many events places want us to attend but we don't have the funds to pay in advance. I will be at an event this Saturday November 25 2023, the day after Rob's spine surgery.

It been a challenge for sure. We are both hard workers and we give back to the community for various causes.

I never thought we will be asking financial help though Go Fund Me. I felt we could avoid this route however here we are. We need help.

Why $15k? That is what my bond is worth but today its only a piece of paper. It's worthless. The hoops I have gone through to get a straight answer to get it redeem is crazy. Being bounced from bank to Computershare to Ontario Government Liason to Lawyer to Computershare and still no confirm direction as to how to redeem it. We need not only the deceased death certificates but copies of the Wills, and a medillion stamp to have someone give assurity, we might be able to issue a cheque to you. "How long would that? Well, we have to due our due diligence."

By the time it is redeemed we will be on the streets. Our vechiles will be repo, our debts and lack of funds will result in being homeless.

I would have thought this senerio would happen in 2021 when I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. We managed somehow. In April 2023, I am cancer free.

Today, we are facing a huge financial challenge. We need financial help. I need a full time job. Any leads would be great!
