Buddy’s Life Saving Treatment

I am trying to raise some money to send to my brother as his beloved one year old cat Buddy was hit by a car three weeks ago. Buddy was found by a member of the public unresponsive on the side of the road and taken to the vets after being hit by a car. All of his claws were gone as he had literally dragged himself off the road and then collapsed. Buddy was assumed to be paralysed and we were told he needed to be put down that night. My brother could not bring himself to have Buddy put down and he miraculously survived the night and after being taken to a specialist the next day he was confirmed not paralysed but severely injured . Buddy has since been fighting for his life in the hospital and refusing to give up despite lots of set backs. His injuries are dire with both of his back hips being shattered and both legs broken, punctured lungs and diaphragm and severe internal bleeding amongst other things. Buddy has so far undergone an operation on his hips but has contracted a severe infection which is destroying all of the tissue around where the operation was conducted. He seems to be fighting the infection and is on strong antibiotics but he still has a long way to go. Buddy had to have the infected tissue and muscle removed and has been left with exposed bone so they are now thinking of other options. His treatment is currently standing at £12,000. I am trying to raise some money to give to him to buy Buddy some more time to recover and give Buddy a chance at life. We cant comprehend losing him and I want to do everything I can to ensure he doesn’t and isn’t left having to put Buddy down. Buddy is fighting and we can tell he wants to live, he has still got light in his eyes and is trying his best to recover. We want to see the day when Buddy can return home.❤️
