Support the Scene
Donation protected
Hi all,
Undoubtedly many of you will know the legendary local musician and our friend, Tony Romaine who performs all around the heart of Inverness.
Recently, Tony has become ill following a stroke, which has had an impact on his ability to gain an income from doing the thing that he loves, and the things that we love him for.
For a couple of months Tony can’t perform during the healing and rehabilitation process, so support him during this time we’re asking for assistance and through your donations to help support both Tony, and his family. For now, we’d like this to remain a surprise for him, but we hope that it will help focus his energy on getting better and lighten the load of financial hardship that may incur without his income. He’s a passionate stalwart and advocate of the Inverness music scene and even outwith that - a top class dude in general.
The team at The Tooth & Claw and fellow beloved musician Pat Dennis would like to invite you all; musicians and friends, to join us at our weekly open mic sessions each Thursday to support the cause and raise some money to help him and the folks around him have as easy a time as possible whilst he’s recovering.
We appreciate and thank you for your support, and look forward to seeing Tony back on the circuit. For now, if we can remove as many barriers for recovery as is possible, we should. If you’ve not seen him before, look forward to seeing this lovely human come back, but the more support the better. Lets make this happen! Love the Tooth and crew!
If you’d like to learn a bit about the impact or challenges that can present due to a stroke then here’s a wee link with some info.
