Help save Midnight: Urgent Surgery Needed

My sweet, beautiful cat Midnight has to get immediate surgery to have a foreign body removed from her intestine, along with potentially gastrointestinal resection and anastomosis: a procedure where a section of the intestines needs to be removed and the remaining healthy sections need to be reconnected due to a thickening or growth the vet found in her intestine.

The cost of these procedures is estimated between $8,150 and $9,700, not including follow-up costs and aftercare. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to afford this right now as a freelance filmmaker living gig to gig, paycheck to paycheck. So if you can give anything, anything at all to help me save my cat's life, I'd be eternally grateful.

Those of you who know Midnight have had the pleasure of seeing one of the most intelligent and curious cats in action. How many cats do you know that can open doors and high five?

Her intelligence, however, is only matched by her kind and cuddly nature, be it her rolling into a ball in your lap when you sit down on the couch or presenting her belly for rubbing when you get home from a long day at work. Midnight's affectionate nature brings smiles to all (even those who said they'd never be cat people: myself included).
