UCF Baja International

We're UCF Baja International, a collegiate motorsports team at the University of Central Florida. Established in the late 70s, UCF Baja has been dedicated to hands-on learning and skill development for our students each year through the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Baja design challenge.

Students in SAE are exposed to numerous real-world engineering problems, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures. We design, build and race a single-seat off-road vehicle against teams across the globe. The main goal of SAE is to create a learning environment for engineering students that promotes exploration into new technologies, engineering processes, and softwares used in industry. Each year, we undergo a rigorous design process that encompasses the development of load cases, exploration of design constraints, iterative component creation, validation, manufacturing, and testing, just as a full-time engineer would do in the industry.

Our yearly budget covers manufacturing services, parts, software, tools, safety gear, competition transportation and accommodations. ​SAE at UCF is a student organization. Without our sponsors, meeting our goals as a club would not be possible. We rely on sponsors for everything from the software we design the car with to the materials we build it out of.​

UCF Baja International is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and beneficial to both the furtherment of our team's goals and the development of our members. Your investment goes further than just a project.
