UCLA Musical Theater Class of 2023 Showcase

Hi!!

We, the students of UCLA Ray Bolger’s Musical Theater Class of 2023, are raising funds for our Senior Showcase. Each year the senior Musical Theater students prepare for a Showcase where we hope to make important industry connections, gain representation, exposure to casting directors, and more. However, UCLA’s Department of Theater does not allocate funds towards a Senior Showcase, making it a fully student-funded and produced event. In the past, the seniors have raised up to $28,000, the entirety of which was put toward expenses for the showcase which got many of them representation, jobs on national tours, cruise ships, dinner theaters, and more. This year we aim to raise $10,000 to put on a virtual and in-person showcase in Los Angeles.

The funds we raise will allow us to acquire a performance space, audiovisual gear and engineers, a videographer, an editor, an accompanist, as well as mentors to help us take this next step into the theater and entertainment industry. As the future of theater and entertainment, we are hopeful that you will be willing to help in any way possible. If you feel inclined to donate, we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much!
