Ucluelet Child Care Society Fundraiser

The Ucluelet & Area Childcare Society (UACCS) is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, inclusive childcare to families in the Ucluelet area.

The Society is seeking donations to help furnish the Little Beans outdoor play space, update the Ucluelet Children's Centre, and fund accessible children’s programming.

As the largest non-profit daycare provider on the West Coast, the Society currently operates a group daycare (24 spaces), a multi-age program (8 spaces) and new infant/toddler program (operating at 8 spaces, licensed for up to 12). All UACCS programs are supported by the Province of BC's Child Care Operating Funding and participate in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative, ensuring accessibility and affordability for families in the region. As a registered charity and non-profit society, we aim to keep rate increases to a minimum to support local families, however the Society finds itself unable to fund new equipment, cover maintenance, and keep up with increasing costs.
