Help Support UConn's ASL Club’s Alternative Spring Break Trip to Washington, D.C.
We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for our ASL Club students to travel to Washington, D.C., home to a vibrant Deaf community and the renowned Gallaudet University, the only university specifically dedicated to Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. This trip will allow our students to immerse themselves in the culture, history, and advocacy work of the Deaf community, as well as strengthen their ASL skills in real-world settings.
Our ASL students are passionate and dedicated to learning, and this trip will provide them with invaluable experiences, including visiting Deaf-owned businesses, participating in cultural events, and engaging with Gallaudet’s students and faculty. However, to make this trip a reality, we need your help!
Funds raised will go toward:
Airbnb for the group
Groceries and food during the trip
Gas and travel expenses
Your donation, no matter the size, will help provide our students with an unforgettable learning experience and deepen their commitment to the Deaf community. We are so grateful for your support and look forward to sharing this meaningful journey with you.
Thank you for helping us make this educational adventure possible!
