Fundraiser for Adrian

Donation protected
Hi everyone, thank you in advance for sharing and for your donation. The message below is from Adrian's mom Victoria. I created this go fund me in hopes of helping the family with the cost of funeral and burial expenses for Adrian.

Victor “Adrian” Quihuiz was born on 2/20/1999 and on 11/29/2022 @4:40 am Adrian lost his battle to Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy. Adrian was diagnosed when he was 5 yrs old and at that time our world was turned upside down because we were told he wouldn’t live past his teen years. Well, if you had the pleasure of meeting him you would know he didn’t let that stop him from living a full life. He was a loving, caring, intelligent young man who loved his family and friends. He didn’t let being in a wheelchair stop him from venturing out to the mall, movies, Sharks, Warriors, SF Giants and Niner games.

Adrian was a Diehard Niner, Warriors, Sharks and Giants fan. I used to tease him that he was the mini Howard Cosell. He knew stats about stats and loooved to share them while we were watching a game, it drove me crazy! lol I'd tell him damn boy who put a quarter in your a$$?? lmaoo He'd be like mooommm lol!
For most of his life he was an avid gamer. He’d play his xbox from when he woke up till he went to bed. When he finally asked for a headset with a mic I'd hear him cussing up a storm; I was like is this kid losing his mind playing these darn games all day that he's talking to himself now lol . I'd walk into his room and say BOY where the hell you get that foul mouth from? … he paused his game, looked me in the eye and said REALLY MOM… whos my momma!? Lmaoooo That shut me up real quick ! Lol

Adrian also loved rap music and at one point in high school he dabbled in rapping! Lol this kid was not afraid to try new things.

This terrible disease took his ability to walk at age 9 but, he never let that discourage him. As the years went on, he lost more and more motor function but, again, still pushed on. He graduated from Lincoln High School and went to Evergreen College for a couple of years too!

This last year was rough for him and our families, but we did everything we could to ensure he was comfortable and happy. His passing came unexpectedly. His lungs finally decided they couldn’t do it on their own one night, and he ended up in the ICU on a ventilator for a day. He got off the ventilator, and our goal was to bring him home, but our lord had other plans for him and called him home. He kept fighting to the very end and went peacefully with all his family members by his side.
