Super Dad

I am currently flying home to Canada to see my Dad. While I’ve been in the air my Dad received a phone call using my voice, while stating I needed money and that I was in trouble, and sounded very upset. It then dropped and proceeded over text. My phone was on airplane mode and my dad went into a panic thinking I was in danger. He knew I was stopping over in other Countries. He was terrified, and did what any Father would do to try and help. My dad was blindsided by something like this and was unaware these kinds of things even happened. But he got scammed, and he drained his bank account trying to make sure I was okay. I have been on the phone with the police and the bank all day. It is irreversible.

I have gone back and forth for hours thinking of how I can do my part to help him now. If this was an appropriate time to use a platform like this. He went through something traumatic, he is now out so much money. He has bills to pay, and it’s just him at home. My Dad is a good person, he works 60+ hour weeks, and he would do anything for me. I will do everything I can to help him with what I can, and what I have. But if this touches anyone, or even if this can spread awareness.

He doesn’t know I’m writing this. He is the last person that would ever ask someone else for help. I have set up a go fund me.

I will also be looking for work now for the time that I am home ( if there is anyone in the Orillia area looking for any hospo help ) and every cent will be going back to him.
