Christmas hamper appeal

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of KINGSTRUST NETWORK and every donation will help.

Every year since 2013 when Annette Jarvis first started the charity, Kingstrust has made up generous Christmas hampers for those in need along the East Yorkshire coastline from Withernsea to Filey. The towns along this coast have more than their fare share of families in poverty. Each year we provide around 100 generous hampers for families in real need. These families are identified to us by local children's centres, schools, social services and other partner charities.

The hampers are full of fresh healthy food cooked by our volunteers some of it in our community kitchen. We provide enough food for a Christmas dinner, dessert, extra yummy treats and some basic essentials. We like to make Christmas that little extra special for the people in need.

KINGSTRUST NETWORK: Our mission is to benefit local people within our area (Yorkshire, England) who are struggling with poverty in all its forms: financial, mental, spiritual, loneliness and despair. We aim to help people have a better quality of life, one that's stable and meaningful. The Gateway Community Care hub's mission is to help those in poverty, to enhance social wellbeing and inclusion in the Withernsea area.
