Dawn Manuelito, is the founder and CEO of Manuelito Health & Wellness Systems, LLC. The mission of the organization is to build on a culturally relevant healthy lifestyle through Native Indigenous community wellness initiatives, education on nutrition, fitness, and historic teaching. A way of endorsing these values are through Native Indigenous events to promote healthy living lifestyles.
WHAT & WHEN
Dawn Manuelito is currently working on a project and striving for a goal that will bring honor and representation her late grandfather, Marine James C Manuelito Sr., Navajo Code Talker. She will be running in the 47th Annual Marine Corp Marathon in Washington D.C. to honor the Navajo Code Talkers’ legacy. She will be part of a team assembled by the ‘Wear Blue to Remember’ Organization, who gave the official invite.
WHY
Dawn is beyond honored and excited to run for a legacy that is near and dear. In order to make this a success Dawn and her team will rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community to help with training, travel and accommodation expenses. The goal, at the time is monetary donations totaling $5000 USD. Any amount will be greatly appreciated to this organization. Your support is critical to the completion this latest project, and we will gladly keep you updated regarding our progress should you wish.
