Dear friends and family of Mary, Jay, Meghan and Ali-

As you probably know, Jay has been struggling with a mental health crisis for the past year. For 52 years of his life he was a happy, healthy, TN Titans-loving, family man. Last year, he had an adverse reaction to Xanax that he was prescribed for anxiety. Since then, he has been in four Psychiatric facilities, a group home and a 2-month in-patient treatment center in AZ. He has been diagnosed with Akathisia and suffers from debilitating Tinnitus. Until recently, he had been able to somehow continue to work. But, effective this week, his company has put him on FMLA for 12 weeks. During this time, they hope he can stabilize and return to work in 12 weeks. However, during the FMLA period, he will not receive any salary (which equals 75% of his and Mary’s income).

I have set up this Go Fund Me page to help them with their overwhelming medical bills, the girl’s tuition for next semester, which is due in a couple of weeks, mortgage payments and to somehow bring them some holiday cheer. Mary was very reluctant to allow me to set this up as it is tough for her to ask for help. But, I know how much we all care about them. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT POST THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA, but feel free to forward via email to anyone you think would like to help the Schwartz family.
