Rebuild South Minneapolis
After the destruction of S. Minneapolis as a result of the protests for George Floyd, small, minority business owners found themselves with the businesses that they worked their fingers to the bone building destroyed, looted, vandalized and burned down. Some had no insurance. Others have no resources.
We have no other option other than to rebuild. It is going to take support from people all over the world to make this happen. We are strong, we are resilient. And the S. Minneapolis communities came out to show us that we are not alone. Please donate to this fund, administered by La Raza Radio Station 95.7 FM and 1400 AM, which was also consumed in flames on May 29th at the hands of angry arsons. La Raza 95.7 FM and 1400 AM will be working with the Lake Street Council and all of the businesses on Lake Street and S. Minneapolis to make sure that the money goes to business owners in need based, on the level of destruction caused by the vandalism and the needs of the businesses to re-open. PLEASE, HELP US REBUILD!
