Raising $ for Autism & Running the Copehagen Half
Tax deductible
Hey everyone! By now, you're probably well aware of my passion for both running and traveling to indulge in it, so I won't go into detail there. One of the biggest joys I find in running is the sense of community and the opportunity it provides to give back. That's why this year, I've decided to raise funds for the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network as I prepare to participate in the Copenhagen half marathon in September. When it came to selecting a charity to support, the decision was easy.
This cause holds significant meaning for me for two specific reasons. Firstly, my best friend Natalie, who achieved her PhD in Clinical Child Psychology at FIU, has dedicated many years of her career to researching and assisting children with autism, particularly at Weill Cornell's Center for Autism and the Developing Brain. Secondly, my cousin Rob and his wife Amber recently moved from Florida to New York, bringing their son Cam closer to us. Cam, who is my adorable cousin, has an incredible service dog named Rocket, and I want to ensure that they have equitable access to the resources they need as Cam grows up, despite any challenges they may have encountered thus far.

We work to empower Autistic people across the world to take control of our own lives and the future of our common community.
If you're in a place and want to donate, no amount is too small! Please feel free to share as well. Love you all xx
