Help my family Gaza

Donation protected
my name is AHMED HASSAN , a man of 37 years, a husband, and a father to three tender hearts, each a treasure in our modest family of five. Our circle is small but bound by an unbreakable bond, with my father, mother, brother, and sister completing the cherished ensemble.

Unlike the tales that unfold in Gaza, our journey took a different turn one August day, the 16th of 2021. A call from UAE shattered our calm, bearing news of my father's sudden illness. Stricken by a heart attack, his once lively spirit now lay trapped, deprived of oxygen, his essence slipping away into the unforgiving grasp of irreversible damage.
But my father wasn't just any man; he was my rock, my confidant, the guiding light in my life. His absence left a void that no words can fill, a pain that cuts deep into the core of my being. I find solace in the memories we shared, in the love that still lingers in the corners of our home.
Ahmed Hassan's tale is not just one of loss but a testament to the enduring power of love. Though his he may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on, lighting the way through the darkest of nights, reminding us that love transcends all boundaries, even death itself. He just took a part of me .

We reside in Gaza, where unemployment rates are sky-high. Despite holding a university degree in civil engineering from Egypt, I couldn't secure a job. The same fate hit my brother, armed with a master’s in administration, and my sister faced similar challenges. Then, life took a drastic turn when our father fell ill and was hospitalized. As the eldest, the responsibility fell on my shoulders. My brother rushed to be by our father's side, leaving me to care for his family and ours. Gratefully, my father had provided me with a home when I married, allowing me to accommodate our extended family. Despite relentless job hunting, I couldn't find employment in time. Desperate to provide, I resorted to delivering orders using my personal car. Despite the toil, I found solace in supporting my family, just as my father did. Though the work was strenuous, I took comfort in knowing I never had to beg, thanks to my father's teachings.

The war swept away the remnants of our dreams and the aspirations my father held dear, hoping to spend his remaining years in peace. I'm grateful to God that he was spared from witnessing the horrors of the conflict that engulfed us for five long months. My father couldn't withstand the shock; we lost our home and my only means of livelihood, my car. My mother also lost her home. This war has displaced me for the sixth time, now residing in Rafah.

I managed to take my elderly mother to Egypt, but couldn't bring my family or my brother's wife, who now lives in a school in Deir al-Balah with her two daughters, one of whom has hyperactivity and autism, without her husband. He entrusted them to my care. My mother moves from one place to another, relying on the kindness of relatives and friends for sustenance. I'm unemployed, and the war has drained my savings completely.

Currently, I live in a tent with my wife and three children, separated from her family outside Gaza, torn apart from loved ones in our own land. Unable to provide even the basic necessities of life due to financial strain, soaring prices, and scarcity of essentials.

All I yearn for is to reunite with my family, left behind by my father, and to begin anew in a place free from the ravages of war, fear, and destruction, which have sadly become the only reality my children know.
