Uganda Bwindi Nursery & Primary School

Last year I had the pleasure of visiting the Bwindi Plus Nursery & Primary School in the Western region of Uganda.  These children were so happy to see visitors because they have so few.  Many walk 5km (3+ miles) to and from school each day.  The walk is long, especially for the very young.  While at school, the building is not equipped with proper plumbing.  The school is working to build hostels & boarding sections for the children and teachers to live at during the week, to alleviate the travel burden, and allow the kids flushable toilets – and the opportunity to just be kids.  However, they do not have all the resources to make this a reality.

Thank you for your support in helping this wonderful school build hostels and flushable toilets for these deserving children.  We have so much here in the U.S. that we take for granted and even the smallest things mean the world to these children.  No amount of generosity will go unnoticed.
