Fabiana’s Mission to Help 500 Kids in Uganda
Donation protected
Hello Friends,
My name is Rob, and I’m Fabiana’s partner. Earlier this year, Fabiana celebrated her 51st birthday—and while we didn’t have a big celebration, we held onto one very meaningful goal: helping her fulfill her long-time dream of volunteering in Uganda.
Fabiana’s sister, Cláudia, travels each summer to volunteer at Noah’s Arc, an orphanage and school that provides housing, food, and education to around 500 children of all ages. You can learn more about their incredible mission here: https://noahsarc.org
Noah’s Arc is led by a devoted couple, Ken and Beatrice—known to the children as “Papa Ken” and “Mama Queen Bea.” These children, who are not eligible for adoption, are raised with love and care until they are ready to live independently. Supporting this work truly takes a village, and in the U.S., they’re backed by ThinSpace Africa, the nonprofit that coordinates volunteer efforts: https://thinspaceafrica.org
Fabiana, a former educator born and raised in Brazil, understands deeply the challenges of growing up in a developing country. She previously taught English to young children and is now hoping to bring that passion and experience to Uganda, joining the education group traveling there this June. Her goal is to help train teachers and support the learning and growth of the children at Noah’s Arc.
We’re aiming to raise $6,000 to purchase school supplies and nutritious food for the children. While her birthday may have passed, we believe there’s no better way to honor it than by helping make this dream a reality.
If you’re able to give—or simply share this page with others—we would be incredibly grateful. Every bit of support brings Fabiana one step closer to making a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
With heartfelt thanks,
Rob & Fabiana
