Ugandan orphanage & school holiday campaign

G'day everyone!

 

It's Kelly here from Give Backpackers, and this year  I am raising funds for an organization I personally interacted with in Uganda during my trip in 2019. Edgar, the found of "World race Uganda" has a few words to share:

 

"Hello, my name is edgar morganz and I am currently a mentor for a wonderful organization in Uganda. I work directly with orphans, street children and communities. We provide housing, meals, schooling, and extra curriculars including Dance and Rugby. These kids deserve to have a steady foundation around them to succeed and live long healthy lives. I do my best to ensure every child has a chance in the world. Day and night I am working to better their lives and living conditions. Unfortunately more help is needed than what is received and we proud of your support in the development of our land purchased in the community of bubugo jinja Uganda through the construction of orphan school to help them access education free of charge. The need for financial assistance is growing by the day. On top of these funds will help to buy building materials which includes Bricks, cement, hardcore stones, labour costs of 2 classrooms ranging to 15x22 Ft

Amount needed is $5000 for the construction of 2 classrooms and a pit latrine.

Each classroom will costs $2000 and 2 classrooms with costs $4000

$1000 will help to in the construction of 5 rooms of the pit latrine including painting costs
