Sadie's Memorial

Hi my name is Shannon. Nearly 2 weeks ago my dear friend experienced something no parent should ever live to see - she lost her full of life 15 year old child, Sadie.

Sadie Pugsley had so many loving people in her life and I'm sure she would want this to be spread to the many many people who she loves and who love her!

The family and friends of Sadie Pugsley are so deeply heartbroken to have to tell you that she left us on Tuesday May 16th 2023, in Calgary, surrounded by her loving family.

Our Sadie will always be a force of nature. Loyal and loving to an astonishing degree.. Creative, curious and courageous, the world has truly lost a brilliant and generous young woman that had so many fantastic things to build and do and say. Devastated is not an adequate enough word to describe how her family and friends are feeling at this unimaginable tragedy. We are absolutely heartbroken. Reeling from the loss and struggling to comprehend how such an extraordinarily beautiful human could be missing from us for the rest of our days. Sadie, you will be mourned and missed and treasured and celebrated by those of us who know you and love you until we ourselves take our final breaths.

Karen has been a stay at home Mom since Covid, always available to support Sadie and her 3 other children as best she could. These past few years as Sadie searched to find out who she was and wanted to be, Karen was there by her side whenever she could be. That has left her with very little in the way of savings and she is now struggling with the costs of giving Sadie a beautiful send off that she very much deserves. Any donation however small will be appreciated and will go towards the costs of and memorial and whatever else she may need to honor Sadie. Having lived most of her life in Pitt Meadows BC and been in Calgary the last few years, the family would love to honour her in a small gathering in both home cities if possible.
