Be fit in Highschool, fight Obesity

This is my transformation and I want our students to learn how they too can achieve the same goal. However, we lack workout gear; either because it's broken or over aged. Educating young minds in school is really important but their physical HEALTH is important too. Alas, many of our students are not aware of what to eat to follow a healthy lifestyle or how to train properly.
OBESITY can be the result. I know what I'm talking about: I was 265 pounds by the time I had reached 19. I was eating too much, mainly junk food at school and I had no clue how to eat clean or how to evaluate what was in my food and on my plate.
I learned from my mistakes and consequently lost 123 pounds in only 2 years.
Last year I started working at my old high school as a geography teacher. I have also started giving my students advice on how to prepare tasty yet healthy food, how to stay motivated and how to workout in a way that is fun, inspirational and with a lot of dedication. The positive feedback from the students was overwhelming. This led me to my next goal: I want to create a fitness area in our school for our future generation in order to avoid obesity. We have a lot of students who can't afford a gym membership and who want to workout in a group after school.
15% of the students at our school struggle and thus fight weight problems. I want to help them to get over it in a healthy way and to help them avoid the same mistakes I did.
Spinning bikes, outdoor fitness equipment, nutrition workshops/courses and organizing camps in order to improve their health and lifestyle, all these things are needed to help these teens find their way to a healthy lifestyle.
It has changed immensely and I want to help them to change their life as well . Sometimes the mind is weak and it too has to be strengthened.
If this is done properly they can achieve anything in life. Staying focused and strong is an ability that can change a lot.
Let's change this and give these teens a chance to change their life :)
Thank you a lot
