Help Jessica Fight Ovarian Cancer
Donation protected
On Friday, June 2, 2023, Jessica went to her local doctor for what she believed to be possibly appendicitis. After a scan, it was discovered that Jessica had a large malignant mass in her ovaries that has spread to other organs. Being diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer and living in a remote part of Nebraska, Jessica faces a long road ahead. Challenges of being a mother to 3 young children, a wife, a beloved coworker and friend, Jessica is going to need substantial support as she moves through the next few months. Jessica is a ray of sunshine to all who know her. Willing to be a helping hand, a hard worker, a great mother, and a loving friend, she is now the one who needs all those things and so much more.
If you can consider giving to Jessica’s GoFundMe as a way of helping Jessica to cover the expenses that come from this diagnosis, I know that she would be incredibly grateful. It is certain that she will not only experience significant medical bills, but there will be ongoing expenses of traveling for chemotherapy as well as managing a family while fighting for her life. Jessica could use all your prayer, love, positive energy and support, but anything you can help financially will go directly to Jessica and her family while they navigate the next few months of unfamiliar territory.
Jessica was adamant that if we wanted to do a GoFundMe, that we utilize this platform for education. Jessica wants each of you to know that your health is of utmost priority. You know your body best and if it doesn’t feel right, fight for answers. Ovarian cancer is the second most common gynecologic cancer in the United States and often goes undetected until the late stages of the disease. Give yourself and your family the gift of health and schedule your annual exams, don’t put off that appointment. Nothing is more important.
Thank you so much for considering donating to the Coburn Family. Just know your encouragement has held Jessica up thus far through some difficult nights and days. Let’s hold her up and carry her through the other side of this journey.
