On November 5th, Sherry suffered a major heart attack. She had spent the proceeding days with lower back pain and heartburn symptoms. In the evening, she told her husband Gary that she wasn't feeling well and asked him to take her to the hospital. He noticed a change in her and immediately called for the ambulance. In route to the hospital she suffered a major heart attack and died for between 10-15 minutes. Thankfully, the paramedics were able to revive her, and she was checked into Jefferson Hospital, where she later suffered a second heart attack. On November 5th, a stint was put in. Due to the heart attack and pre-existing diabetes her kidneys began to fail, and she had a dialysis port inserted on November 6th. A CT scan was ordered to check her brain functions when the doctors discovered bleeding in her brain. Doctors then made a decision to transfer her to Allegheny General Hospital. The fear is that some of the medications that she needs in response to her heart attacks and dialysis can cause the brain to bleed to worsen.
Sherry has been a stay at home wife and mother for many years, and her husband Gary has been working to provide for her and their twin sons Carson and Noah. Gary and Sherry are true soul mates. Gary has been absolutely beside himself, worried about his wife, and spent absolutely every available minute at Sherry's bedside. I am positive money is the absolute last thing on Gary, Carson, and Noahs mind, but the medical bills will come, and insurance will not cover them all. The mortgage will need to be paid, and when Sherry comes home, she will need medications and physical therapy. Gary will need to miss more work to look after his wife as doctors say she may need to stay in the ICU for an extended amount of time. I ask that if you can, please donate to this very deserving family in their time of need. If you can't, I ask that you please add them to your prayers. If you don't pray, please send good vibes.
