Tito's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My cat, Tito, was diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) after an emergency vet visit last night.
FLUTD is an umbrella term that refers to several conditions affecting the cat’s lower urinary tract, including the urethra (a thin tube that carries urine) and bladder. Some of the conditions caused by FLUTD include Urinary Tract Infections (UTI), Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), Bladder Stones (Urolithiasis), and Cancer of the Urethra and Bladder. All of these conditions are extremely painful and many can be life threatening in adult male cats.
Unfortunately, there is no cure for FLUTD and but most cases can be managed with a combination of medications, diet, and environmental changes. Making permanent lifestyle changes will be necessary for Tito to live as comfortably as possible with this disease, however all of this comes with quite a high cost— I’m asking for donations that will be used to cover the cost of Tito’s emergency vet visit, as well as the cost of medications and future treatments to manage this disease and provide him the best quality of life possible.
Any amount helps and is so appreciated ♡
