I'm writing this with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency.

My beloved mom has been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer and needs life-saving surgery as soon as possible.

I'm reaching out to ask for your kindness, generosity, and prayers to help her get the treatment she needs.

For months, my mom has suffered from severe stomach pain. She’s been in and out of the hospital, undergoing multiple tests, including ultrasounds but doctors couldn't find the cause. Her pre-existing conditions, such as heart enlargement and lung fibrosis, only made things more complicated and delayed a clear diagnosis.

It wasn’t until last month, after another emergency hospital visit, that we finally got answers. A CT scan revealed the devastating news: my mom has Stage 3 colon cancer.

She’s 76 years old and one of the strongest women I know, but this is a battle she can’t fight alone. The public hospital in our province of Leyte doesn’t have the facilities to perform the surgery she urgently needs. To get the proper treatment, we must fly her to Cebu City.

The estimated total cost, surgery, hospital stay, medications, and travel, is around One Million Pesos (approx. $20,000 USD).

My parents are retired, have no health insurance, and my siblings and I are doing everything we can, but we simply can't afford this on our own.
