Homeless VET Family

Hi, my name is Joseph Rollins. My wife (Kimberly) and kids (Faith, Kaleb and Kayliee) and I have been homeless since May 18th of LAST year. I'm a disabled military VET and have been fighting for my benefits for the last 5 years. We became homeless when my wifes income alone just wasnt enough and I struggle to help most days because of my disability.
We are on a few waiting lists for shelter and are waiting for a couple organizations to get back to us about emergency housing. We are working with a Congressman even to try and help. I recently even spoke with the Secretary of The Navy for help. Its all "processing"
Unfortunately due to the weather in AZ (Over. 100 degrees everyday) we had no choice but to split out family up because living in a Tahoe is for kids is wrong. Our daughter went to Minnesota and our son is with a family friend. Sadly we had to do what we had to for there safety.
The goal is set at $600 because $400 could get us a room for a few nights to spend time with our son and our oldest daughter (Felisiti) and grandbaby weston. $200 for gas and a fue filter for the truck. Also will help pay for insurance and registration so our Tahome (Nic name for the Chevy Tahoe) doesnt get towed. Not to mention offer a quite stable place for a short time to focus on our goals.
Work, college (g.i. bill) a home, spending time with our split apart family.
Sincerely,
The VET family
