[Update 14/03] - Myself and my partner starting showing signs of Coronavirus yesterday.  We live with her mid-70s mother, so have split the house into 3 self-quarantines (our cats are having the run of the communal bit of the house and loving it!) it's scary times, but my symptoms are mild so it looks like I can continue working on this for now.

[Update 16/04] - We've since been through the two weeks of quarantine and a further two weeks of isolation.  At this point we're all healthy and hunkered down for the foreseeable future.  Thanks for everybody's concern and kind words regarding our situation so far <3 please see updates below for more information on how my/our situation is progressing.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been spending a good chunk of each day recently compiling the UK's Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection rates into a spreadsheet, as well as highlighting some of the more noteworthy trends. Since receiving increasing amounts of attention, I'm getting and responding to requests and comments, updating the sheet with developments throughout the day.   [Update 16/04] since starting this work it's massively expanded to multiple other areas, charts/separate spreadsheets etc. as the data available has increased in availability and complexity.

I've also began amateur reporting on an issue of NHS COVID-19 signage being weeks out of date and potential containment disaster that's been weeks in the making.  This has involved me travelling to hospitals and photographing this signs, as well as gathering them from social media and highlighting the entire issue to the UK's journalists/media outlets.  More recently I've put together a timeline of Boris Johnson's movements pre-hospitalisation that was was stolen for an article on The Mirror online.

On a personal level, I'm currently out of work* and (thanks in no small part to this whole virus situation!) might not have any money coming in for the next few months, which is pretty worrying right now.

Anyway, sob story aside, if you appreciate the work I've done/am doing, then please chuck me some of your spare pennies!

* on the off-chance anybody knows of any IT support (contract or permanent) roles in London, then please let me know.  Or if you need your computer fixing, I can do that too :)
