Billy & Lisa over at BC-FX.co.uk have being using their 3d printers to make vital PPE for frontline workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Based in Redcar they have been funding the service from their own pockets at a cost of around £200 per 246 face shields.
The printers are currently taking 40min to produce on shield, Billy is currently making a speed mould as I type to be able to make 10 Sheilds every 20 minutes.
These Sheilds will be distributed FREE to Hospitals, surgery's, medical and key workers throughout the NE!!!
Billy and Lisa can't continue to keep funding this Vital service and their funds will eventually run dry.
