UK- SVG: HURRICANE BERYL WE SHALL RISE FUND

Dear nationals and friends,

The SVG Friendship Foundation (UK), a registered charity in the UK, in association with Tempo Mas UK and the Royal Navy Commonwealth Network is spearheading disaster relief efforts across the UK to raise funds for nationals of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines who have been directly impacted by the passage of Hurricane Beryl over the past 24 hours.

Hurricane Beryl has left a trail of destruction in its wake, particularly in the Grenadines including Union Island, Canouan and Mayreau. Up to press time, the Prime Minister has confirmed significant damage to homes, other properties and key infrastructure.

While the government is rightly focused on a whole nation response, the SVG Friendship Foundation is mobilising to ensure that no one gets left behind, particularly those who were already vulnerable such as those with disabilities, the poor and female-headed households.

We require your help as we work with local NGOs and community organisations to bring rapid relief tho those affected.
