Help family and friends in Ukraine

Hey everyone my name is Don and my wife is Lesia. She was born and raised in Kyiv where her parents still live now. We live in Maine with our 4 children and have started this campaign to help friends and family impacted by the war in Ukraine.

Her mother and father are both unable to leave Kyiv because of the war. She has cousins who live near Kyiv with three children. We have a close family friend who has a disabled brother who cannot leave Kyiv and friends with two children who are still trying to flee to Poland. There are many complications because of the roads, bridges, lack of gas, and military conflict.

Food, medicine, and shelter are significant concerns as the war rages on.

We have a way to directly send money to family and friends who are still in Kyiv and Ukraine. Baba (grandma) can make some basic bread and food and share it with her neighbors. She lives with a family friend who can go out when there is no curfew to look for food and supplies. Unfortunately, most stores and shops are bare.

We will be sending every donation to family and friends in Ukraine and helping those who could flee but are still trying to get to safety. We will be updating here as often as possible when we have more information to share with you.

We hope that we might find a way to bring our family and friends to safety soon. However, for those who cannot flee at this time, we want to give them support and hope.
