Hi . . . We are Donna and Louie Politarhis, a compassionate and dedicated Newcastle, AU based duo on a mission to bring hope and love to the people of Ukraine amidst the devastation of war.

With a heartfelt purpose, we are raising funds to support initiatives such as building homes, working with children, and providing essential aid and support to those on the front line.

This will be our third trip to Ukraine, where we have witnessed firsthand the impact of war on communities. Through our practical skills and unwavering commitment, we aim to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by the conflict, while also sharing the love of God and hope with those in need.

Clearing the site for a temporary home

Our work includes the practical support in construction of emergency homes, working with local people and well established organisations within Ukraine. We've worked in areas of complete devastation around Kyiv, Moshchun, Sloviansk area, Kostiantynivka in the Donbas Region.

This trips' focus is on the partially occupied Kherson Region.

Funds raised will be used to purchase and distribute aid in the following areas:

• Aid - generally includes resources such as First Aid and basic medications, long life food products, footwear, sleeping bags and more [we do not fund or supply any goods of a lethal nature]. This is a vital aid to civilians.

• Housing – resources for homeless families needing shelter.

• Children – art therapy and creative workshops, supply of basic resources like stationary, activity books, small hampers.

• Bibles – the message of hope for all those facing hardships.

• Support for Australia to Ukraine travel – our 2 previous trips were 100% self funded and we love being able to minister and support others. To be able to go once more we're seeking a partial contribution of airfares, buses and trains to reach our destinations.
