My name is Andrew Fabela. I am 18 years old, the author of “Tough Kids Mindset “, a #1 bestselling book (Link to Book ), and a Florida High School All Star Football player. I established Tough Kid Boot Camp (501(c)3) Foundation to teach kids to manage any aggression they may have to “Live their full potential!” I partnered with Open Door Foundation’s Orphanage Summer Camp in Ternopil, Ukraine. I am here teaching sports and a “Tough Kid Mindset”. I am also raising $90,000 to offset the cost of $150 per child, which covers the six weeks of food and lodging. No child will be turned away for lack of funds.
Vitaly and Natalie Smolin, founders of the Open Door Foundation, have been holding a Summer Camp in Ternopil for ten years. But this year is more extraordinary and necessary than ever. Due to the war, more orphans than usual are attending the camp, 600 in total. They have an awesome theme: “How to Build and Cultivate Resilience”—which parellels the theme of my book.
I am bringing deflated footballs, soccer balls, kick balls (of course a hand pump) and lots of candy. I don’t need any other physical items, as I can only take what I can carry over the border on foot.
I am reaching out to see if you would consider helping with this mission, either through money and/or prayers for the safety of the orphans, staff, and myself.
100% of all money raised will go directly to the Ukrainian Orphanage Summer Camp. Neither myself or Tough Kids Boot Camp will receive any financial benefit or offsets from your donation.
