Ukrainian girl need your support

This is Sofiia. She is a 14-year-old girl, who lost her mother, her arm, and her beloved cat six months ago in Bucha. Now she is being treated in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

My name is Valerii Isaiev, and I am her father. War has haunted our family since 2014. We were forced to move from the uncontrolled Donbas in 2017, but this did not save us. The shelling by the Russians on our car in Bucha took my wife away from me. My daughters lost their mother and her arm. Besides that, we have lost our home and peace.

The war in Ukraine continues, and countless innocent children are suffering right now while you are reading this story. Innocent children lose their health and loved ones every day. These children need modern medical care, but not all types are available in Ukraine.

Sofiia's story is not unique. She has a strong spirit and Sofiia loves horses and writing.

My daughter has to travel to Boston, the US every year to update her prosthetic arm and further rehabilitation. My family and I need to rebuild our life based on a new reality- a reality that Sofiia become handicapped, that we lost loved ones, and our home.

Each of us individually cannot stop the war in Ukraine, but we can help one person and change her/his life and feature that has been taken away by the Russian.
