Ukrainian Christmas

With electricity becoming sporadic in many Ukrainian cities and a cold winter coming, Ukrainian families will need our support. This fundraiser aims to do just that. Your money will be used to purchase items that ease the burden many Ukrainians face this Christmas.

This fundraiser was started by Thomas Duffy, who works for RIO ESG. It is supported by the founder Daniel Botterill. It aims to raise money specifically for Ukrainian RIO ESG employees displaced or suffering hardship from the invasion. Any additional funds will be given to charities supporting Ukrainian relief efforts. All money received will be reconciled with what it ends up being spent on, which will be available on request.

Money raised will be spent on purchasing items that can be legally sent to Ukraine and are known to be in need. In-need items will be determined by communication with Ukrainian colleagues and charities that effectively support residents living within Ukrainian cities. It will also be spent supporting Ukrainian colleagues who no longer live in Ukraine but have worked for the company since the invasion.

A committee will approve all purchases. This committee will consist of the RIO ESG leadership team members, and the final say will reside with Daniel Botterill.
