Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion starting 22 February 2024. hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed and wounded in Ukraine including many innocent children.
Millions are displaced, often forced from their homes, fleeing to safer parts of
the country or abroad .
They need help with finding places to live, food, and medical care.
Every day, many civilians are suffering from constant threats of areal bombings.
The “Ukrainian Guardians Fund” (“Ukrainiski Beregini”) Humanitarian aid founder and director Natalia Hrama have been working from the beginning of the full scale invasion February 2024 ,organizing humanitarian aid ,food distribution Natalia and her team offers critical help and hope to the community, playing a key role in gathering support. They are working tirelessly for the Charity Canteen “Sunrise,” which feeds hundreds of people daily, mostly elderly, disabled, and children. This project is more than just food aid; its provides hygiene clothes and other essential things, giving aid to the community in the war-affected Saltivka region of Kharkiv, Ukraine and partnering with other charity foundations like fund “Buti Vilnimi” (To be free”) which also helping hospitals, wounded veterans, disabled, and displaced families.
Many people have lost access to basic services like water, electricity, and sanitation because infrastructure has been destroyed. The economy has been badly damaged. Many Ukrainians have lost their jobs, and there is widespread poverty, especially in rural areas.
Solving these problems requires ongoing international help, protection for civilians, and efforts to rebuild essential services.
