This little restaurant makes my heart happy. Everyone always asked if rioja was Spanish and we always wanted to bring the quintessential Spanish tapas experience to Denver. Our team has traveled extensively in Spain and Portugal and those experiences led to Ultreia.

We are a tiny crew that makes the entire experience truly special in our service and style of dining. Our staff is struggling during this recent closure and state wide shut down. In order to assure we have a business to return to on the other side of this crisis, we have had to lay off our entire staff with the hope of hiring everyone back. We are an industry that supports one another. We live a simple life of giving to others, caring for others and creating experiences for our guests. Our staff prides themselves on the food and drinks they create and the experience you have.  Our staff is what makes this restaurant what it is, a warm, welcoming,"home".  We are asking for you to reciprocate and  support our staff that might be struggling during this time due to no fault of their own. Given the situation, our staff is given no choice but to rely on the government and the  kindness of others. Unfortunately, the supplement from the government is not enough to support their daily lives.  We hope that you will contribute to our staff and their wellbeing during this time.  We look forward to having you join us in the near future, when we can show our gratitude for your generosity during this time.
