Igor's Truck Accident Fundings

On August 26th, my father got in a serious truck accident that has serious 3rd -degree burns around his whole body. When his truck burst in flame, he jumped out of cabin 50ft to a pile rocks, injuring his rib cage and lungs. He has been hospitalized at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo New York for 3 weeks now. His condition does not give us a promising date for his return.

He has been under the ventilator for 3 weeks now and has been undergoing multiple surgeries for his burns and pneumonia. He has been asleep for 90% of the time, and when conscious is very distressed and aggravated. We live in Georgia, which prevents us from having contact with him and in-person contact with the nurses and doctors. Because of the circumstances with COVID, we are not allowed to visit him unless we quarantine for 2 weeks in Buffalo. Keeping accurate updates with the doctors is fairly difficult because of the already high demand the doctors and nurses experience. Unfortunately, even if we did decide to quarantine and visit him for only 2 hours a day, we do not have the finance to afford consistent trips.
Considering the fact that we are first-generation immigrants in the United States from Belarus, we do not have a lot of close family for financial and emotional support. My father worked really hard for us to have a comfortable lifestyle, so he dedicated the past 10 years to constant truck driving. With the current circumstances, it is highly unlikely that he will return to this job. Without his financial support, we are very insecure and at risk. We have no idea how much we will have to pay for the medical expenses either, but life after this will be difficult and will need adjusting. My mother recently survived breast cancer, which has already required a lot of our finances to go to her ongoing doctor visits. Solely, we are not able to support ourselves.
My father will have a very long physical and mental recovery. As a family, we will have to also adjust our lifestyles to be more comfortable with him. That includes the purchases of any disability gear, medications, possibly therapies, and others.
With this GoFund me I ask not only to support my father's medical recovery but our family as well. We are all very shocked and traumatized by this situation. Unfortunately in this society, we have to worry not only about my father's health but the medical bills and our financial status.
Anything will truly help us and help us confidently recover our father and bring him back home. And please wear your masks so we will be able to fly to Buffalo. Please share this, as little things make a huge difference.
Thank you so much for any of your donations, thoughts, prayers, and wishes. We are extremely grateful to the ECMC nurses and doctors, MMMExpress, as well as the people who helped save my father. Special thank you to Alex Gonzalez to taking my dad to safety, as well as all of the first responders.
Please help if you can. Thank you so much.
