Um Sonho, Uma Missão – Apoie a Minha Jornada ao Peru!

Hello, everyone! 

 My name is Catarina Silva, I'm passionate about dance, fashion and creativity. But more than that, I'm someone who believes in the power of beauty with purpose, beauty that goes beyond appearance and translates into social impact, inspiration and the transformation of lives. I've always had the dream of representing Madeira in a national competition. Ten years ago, I tried for the first time, but failed to win a title. At the time, I put that dream behind me, believing that maybe it wasn't for me. 

But life has taught me that it's never too late to fight for what makes you tick! Before I turned 30, I decided to return to the stage with a new purpose. I won the title of 2nd Lady Miss Madeira and was named Lady Sudamerica Portugal, thus securing a place in the Global Miss Sudamerica Pageant in Peru. However, this journey isn't just about a title or a sash. It's about representing real women, about inspiring girls to believe in their dreams and, above all, about helping those who need it most. I've always been involved in social causes linked to children, because I believe that education and support can change the destiny of a life. 

And that's my real goal with this contest: to use this platform to give a voice to those who don't have one and create a real impact on society. Unfortunately, the costs of travel, costumes and preparation are high, so I need your help to make this dream and mission a reality. Every contribution, big or small, will help not only to take Portugal to Peru, but also to continue this project of beauty with purpose. Olá a todos!

O meu nome é Catarina Silva, sou apaixonada por dança, moda e criatividade. Mas, mais do que isso, sou alguém que acredita no poder da beleza com propósito, a beleza que vai além da aparência e se traduz em impacto social, inspiração e transformação de vidas.

Desde sempre tive o sonho de representar a Madeira num concurso Nacional. Há 10 anos, tentei pela primeira vez, mas sem conquistar um título. Na altura, deixei esse sonho para trás, acreditando que talvez não fosse para mim. Mas a vida ensinou-me que nunca é tarde para lutar por aquilo que nos faz vibrar!

Antes de completar 30 anos, decidi regressar aos palcos com um novo propósito. Conquistei o título de 2ª Dama Miss Madeira e com isso fui nomeada Lady Sudamerica Portugal, garantindo assim um lugar no Concurso Global Miss Sudamerica no Peru.

Contudo, esta jornada não é apenas sobre um título ou uma faixa. É sobre representar mulheres reais, sobre inspirar meninas a acreditarem nos seus sonhos e, principalmente, sobre ajudar quem mais precisa. Sempre estive envolvida em causas sociais ligadas às crianças, porque acredito que a educação e o apoio podem mudar o destino de uma vida. E é esse o meu verdadeiro objetivo neste concurso: usar esta plataforma para dar voz a quem não tem e criar impacto real na sociedade.

Infelizmente, os custos da viagem, trajes e preparação são elevados, e por isso preciso da vossa ajuda para tornar este sonho e esta missão realidade. Cada contribuição, grande ou pequena, ajudará não só a levar Portugal ao Peru, mas também a dar continuidade a este projeto de beleza com propósito.
