Umberhine Library Donation Recovery
Donation protected
As many of you may have heard, the Umberhine Library in Richmond was burglarized last week. A couple young men stole a soda and, unfortunately, the donation jug that was on the check-out counter. This is a disgraceful crime that does not fit with the community feeling Richmond has and the library helps uphold by being a major gathering place.
In this time of need, I feel a strong pull to help somehow but I'm at a loss as to how to make a difference. I'm hoping, as a community, we can pull together and raise back the stolen money so the library doesn't suffer due to one or two people's selfish act.
Im raising this money on behalf of the Umberhine library. I'm a local resident (from Dresden) who uses the library frequently with my children. Once the campaign is closed, I will deliver the money to the library to be used to pay for items of their choice on their wish list.
