I am raising funds for Angie Conover, an amazing hospice social worker and close friend of 20 years and my brother’s girlfriend of 10 years. She is currently in the hospital having a toe amputated after battling a painful infected wound for quite a while. This is her second hospitalization in recent weeks. The first was three weeks long. She has had to miss so much work to endure multiple surgeries and rounds of IV antibiotics. On top of everything else, her kidneys aren’t functioning properly and she now has to have dialysis 3 times a week. She is so weak, but trying really hard to keep her spirits up. This girl has been through hell and now the bills are piling up. My brother is currently her full time care giver, so he is very limited on working outside of the home. These are great people who were blindsided with multiple medical issues all at one time. I would love to raise enough money so that she can truly relax and heal over the next several weeks or more and not worry about the day to day expenses and medical bills piling up while she is unable to work.
