Umi the cat needs live saving surgery!

Hi there, my name is Ari Gottschalk and I’m asking for any help with my dear old man cat, Umibozu aka Umi aka little cow. A few hours ago, my five year old cat began displaying signs of a urethral blockage, which is unusual but more common in male cats. It’s completely treatable, but absolutely necessary to get it done within 1-3 days, or the worst case scenario will happen. 48 hours at the very minimum is necessary for his stay, which is around $2,400, without other costs around medication, special food, etc. Anything you can give, a dollar, a share, a prayer; I am more than grateful.
