UMTPD No Shave November 2023
Tax deductible
It's the most wonderful time of the year- No Shave November!
For the men and women of the Upper Macungie Township Police Department, No Shave November is a three-month campaign to raise funds for a worthwhile local cause. To participate, officers must pay a monthly "buy-in" fee which allows them to either grow a (trimmed) beard or use a nail polish that contains color. Of course, our department's professional staff is allowed to participate, too!
This year, the UMTPD is raising money in memory of Maria Guzman-Rodriguez, who was murdered in Upper Macungie Township on July 15th, 2022. As part of our campaign, all funds raised will be donated in Maria's memory to
Turning Point of Lehigh Valley. Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley's mission is to eliminate domestic and intimate partner abuse in the Lehigh Valley through empowerment, education, and engagement. Turning Point is a safe place where ALL survivors of domestic and intimate partner abuse and their children can find refuge. TPLV provides services in Lehigh and Northampton counties and has reached over 3,500 people in the fiscal year 2021-2022 through trauma-informed, inclusive programs and services.
Thank you for supporting our officers and Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley!
