Mandy's Recovery Fund

As some of you know, Mandy was given a less-than-stellar diagnosis recently. However, the plan from her gynecological oncologist is full of hope and action, just like our girl. On April 6, Mandy goes in for a "debulking" procedure, which means they're going to take out her ovaries and her uterus in order to remove any cancerous cells. We will have a farewell parade and ceremony for them as soon as she's well. This is actually a best-case scenario, in that her oncologist believes this will remove most - if not all - of the cancer and little to no radiation/chemotherapy will be necessary. If it is needed, the debulking increases the success rate for radiation and/or chemo several times over.

What this means is Mandy will be home and on bed rest for 6 weeks. She cannot go into work, though she is insured (thanks to the heroes at her wonderful job). She will work some from home when she can, but it's mostly time lost without pay. We don't yet know what insurance will cover and what it won't, so we want to build up a cushion for Mandy and Chris while she is in recovery.

Every tiny bit helps, and we'll update everyone as we know more about the situation and what it requires.
